Shawn Piller is an established television producer, showrunner, writer, and director.
Currently the Executive Producer and a Director of Wild Cards, Piller previously served as Co-Showrunner, Executive Producer, and Director on both the internationally acclaimed series Private Eyes and Haven.
Earlier in his career, he created, executive produced, and directed The Dead Zone, served as EP/Director on Greek and Wildfire, and executive produced Sea Change. Piller marked his feature film directorial debut with Sexy Evil Genius, starring Katee Sackhoff, Seth Green, Michelle Trachtenberg, Anthony Michael Hall, Harold Perrineau and Billy Baldwin.
Prior to joining forces with Lloyd Segan, Piller partnered with his father, Michael Piller, in writing Star Trek: The Next Generation & Star Trek: Voyager. He is a graduate of University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. Shawn is married to CBC Executive Amanda Molloy Piller.
